Speech Pathology

Speech Pathology

Speech Pathology provides assessment & therapy services to children and adults who have communication and/or swallowing disorders. This includes speech, language, voice, fluency, literacy, infant feeding, cognition and clients requiring laryngectomy / tracheostomy management.Speech Pathology services are provided to all admitted services and community based programs within Albury Wodonga Health including Albury and Wodonga Hospitals, the Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC), the Transition Care Program (TCP), Post Acute Care (PAC), Community Health (CH) and the Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT)

These services are provided within all streams & programs within Albury Wodonga Health.

AWH Speech Pathology work with other local service providers including Department Aged, Disability & Home Care, Department Human Services & South West Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service to support clients to access the most appropriate services for their individual needs.

Referral from a Medical Practitioner or Allied Health Professional is required to access speech pathology services.
