The Wodonga Hospital Entity Service Plan (Wodonga Hospital ESP) has been developed to articulate a unified direction for service delivery across Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) and the preferred role and service profile for Wodonga Hospital in the wider service network. It is centred on meeting the needs of a growing catchment population with a high burden of disease, through strategies to promote the delivery of high quality, best-practice, safe, timely and effective care.
The ESP considers the future role of the Wodonga Campus, and articulates the future service profile, projected activity, and projected infrastructure requirements based on an agreed service strategy. While the Wodonga ESP specifically focuses on the Wodonga Hospital, it also takes into consideration the ongoing redevelopment of the Albury Hospital Campus (including the consolidation of 24-hour acute, women's and children's services to the Albury site), the wider service network, and related regional plans.
