What You’ll Experience:
- Comprehensive Orientation: A four-day nursing and organisational orientation to build a strong foundation.

- Professional Development: Study days covering key topics like recognising and responding to deteriorating patients, diabetes management, blood administration, and intravenous medication.
- Peer Support: Monthly sessions to connect with fellow participants and share experiences.
- Clinical Rotations: Experience rotations in medical and surgical wards across AWH.
- Expert Guidance: Support from a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator and a preceptorship or buddy model of workplace learning.
Who Should Apply?
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant work experience.
- For ENs: Endorsement for must included the Intravenous Therapy module.
- Key Qualities:
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
