To everyone throughout the community who supports our Albury Wodonga Health Opportunity Shops - this one is for you!
Due to the generosity of our community, and the tireless work of our volunteers, they've been able to donate $200,000 for an Intra Vascular Ultrasound Machine.
One of only a handful in Australia with this updated technology, this will assist our Cardiac Unit to support around 100 people each year and reduce the need for transfers to Melbourne.
The machine is operational, and our staff are being trained on this new technology as we speak.
Thank you to the 70 or so AWH Volunteers, who give freely of their time to support our health service in the Opportunity Shops, and to the community who donate and purchase items. We couldn't do this without your support.
