Welcome to Albury Wodonga Health. Our philosophy is to pursue excellent patient care, to respond to your needs and to continually update and improve the quality of our service. As AWH is a single organisation, we share available beds across both hospitals. This means that on occasion, you or your loved one may receive treatment at either the Albury Hospital or Wodonga Hospital irrespective of which hospital the initial admission occurred.
AWH acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which the hospital sites are located. We are committed to improving our care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island patients through the Improving Care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Patients (ICAP) program.
We have over 1,200 staff and more than 200 volunteers meeting the needs of our diverse regional community.
AWH offers a range of medical and surgical services, including orthopaedics, paediatrics, urology, ear nose & throat surgery, gynaecology, coronary care, high dependency unit, oncology, trauma and intensive care, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes education, community nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, podiatry, social work, dialysis, radiology, pain management, dietetics and radiology. In addition Wodonga Hospital is the location for the maternity/obstetric and special care nursery service with over 1,600 babies delivered each year.
