Patients living with chronic kidney disease require dialysis three times a week. Accessing a patient’s vein to enable treatment can be challenging and the ultrasound machine will greatly improve our ability to find suitable veins and reduce the needle trauma experienced by patients.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Rotary Club of Albury West, First National Real Estate - Bonnici & Associates and many local businesses across Albury and Wodonga. Their contribution to the Michael Kalimnios Memorial Dinner helped the AWH Foundation to raise the $23,000 needed to purchase the ultrasound machine.
