Telehealth

Albury Wodonga Health is committed to improving access to health care as close to home as possible. To support this, we are introducing telehealth as an option when suitable. New technology such as Video Call is ‘user-friendly’, with the added value of face to face communication. You can see, hear, and speak with your Albury Wodonga Health clinician as if you are in the room with them:

  • You don’t need to travel to Albury Wodonga Health for a consultation;
  • You can use telehealth on most laptops, desktop computers, tablets, or smartphones;
  • It saves you travel time and expense by delivering care to you;
  • Your own GP, local health professional or carer can provide additional support.

For instructions on telehealth, how it works and what you need to do, we recommend you read the Attending your appointment via a video call information sheet.

Well before your appointment, make a test call to see that your equipment is working correctly

Requesting a telehealth appointment

During an outpatient appointment at Albury Wodonga Health, you can discuss with your health professional whether telehealth may be a suitable option for your next consultation.

If you have any concerns about telehealth, we encourage you to speak with your health professional before making an appointment.
